By creating an account or using Tend, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Tend is a personal journaling tool available at tendjournal.app. We provide it as-is and may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Tend.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

• One person per account — do not share accounts.

• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You own everything you write in Tend. We claim no rights to your journal entries, notes, or any other content you create. You grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to operate the service for you.

You agree not to use Tend to store or transmit content that is unlawful or that violates the rights of others.

If you provide a phone number for sign-in, Tend may send you verification codes via SMS. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us. We do not send unsolicited marketing texts.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using Tend you agree to that policy.

Tend is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Tend is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tend and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using Tend and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends and we will delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
